Redeem: 8

The Lord has promised good to us,
do you know it?

When the doubts sift through my mind like stones,
when the hopeless hopeless drowns with torrents of its rain,
when fear dictates that victory will not be our day,
I forget His voice that I know and have heard
steady sure and true:

Your tender heart is in My hand.

We are His sheep, He is our shepherd,
He will not let us see decay;
In this land, He will show us
all it is that He can do.

The good of it is His glory;
His glory is our good.
And we shall see Him,
and we shall know Him;
With Him we are one.

My promise to you:
I believe His promises to us.

Do you know it?

[redeem, verb: to free from what distresses or harms; to release from blame or debt; to regain possession or recover ownership;
to convert, restore, atone; to save]
