Growth: 18

I talk on the phone for long hours this morning,
about the ways of the land.
About how the ways of the land
direct the eyes of the people,
even the people of the Lord.

And then I read 2 Chronicles,
and see clearly:

This ain't no new story.

And it's really very simple, isn't it?
This choice of whom to serve.

To set your heart, to seek the Lord
to humble yourself, to call on His Name.

Then deliverance we shall see.
