Redeem: 3

{I spend these moments just with the Lord,
as quiet as can  be,
and from somewhere deep He speaks to me,
says-- "here, follow my lead"}

I think it's time and right to say
what might surprise you to be said:

As you went along your way
there were choices you chose which had to be made,
but have brought us to this possible day
of you and I and come-what-may;

hard choices, feeling dead and dry,
like everything would fade, good-bye.

for these things I want to say,
as simply sweetly as I may:

Thank you. {Thank you.}

[redeem, verb: to free from what distresses or harms; to release from blame or debt; to regain possession or recover ownership;
to convert, restore, atone; to save]
