That multiple times I saw you, sitting in it.
And each time I saw Jesus too. Just nearby.
Seemingly not concerned in the least little slightest bit.
That's interesting to me.
It speaks of His sovereignty.
He always knew the outcome.
He also knew why you were there.
Just now I'm sitting in my chair on the porch,
wrapped in a blanket as the sun begins to fade.
And just now it strikes me that every question
we have about life is ultimately a question about Him.
Who do we say that He is?
I say that He is Able.
Willing.
In Control.
Purposeful.
Bold.
Present.
He has never left your side;
that's a promise
He fulfilled.
[fulfill, verb: bring to completion or reality; achieve or realize (something desired, promised, or predicted); to succeed in doing]
