Today I am Loving {193}

When you are having the much needed sabbatical day,
and so you do the quiet baking
but you also meet the friend and the children for lunch in this glorious weather day, because too many of your hours these days are around people but not your people,
and you leave them, just happening to stop at the random store, finding Christmas gifts galore, and when you go for the groceries you text back and forth with your sis-in-law who just felt the need to check in on you, all the way through the unloading of the groceries, the rearranging of the tea too, and the other menial-but-feels-good-to-get-done things,
and then you sit for a bit,
before delicious simple supper, before you head out for the performance of the student who asks you every time she sees you:
 will you be there?
