Interruption.

When you know students who are afraid to go on campus today because the trump supporting students called them n*****s before the man giving them permission was chosen to run our country.

Psalm 146

Praise the Lord!
Let all that I am praise the Lord.

    I will praise the Lord as long as I live.
    I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath.
Don’t put your confidence in powerful people;

    there is no help for you there.
When they breathe their last, they return to the earth,
    and all their plans die with them.
But joyful are those who have the God of Israel[a] as their helper,
    whose hope is in the Lord their God.
He made heaven and earth,
    the sea, and everything in them.
    He keeps every promise forever.
He gives justice to the oppressed
    and food to the hungry.
The Lord frees the prisoners.
    The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down.
    The Lord loves the godly.
The Lord protects the foreigners among us.
    He cares for the orphans and widows,
    but he frustrates the plans of the wicked.
10
The Lord will reign forever.

    He will be your God, O Jerusalem,[b] throughout the generations.
Praise the Lord!

Today I am Loving {196a}

When in the beginning, God, and in the end, God.

Today I am Loving {196}

When you are hungry and thirsty and this hits the spot.

Today I am Loving {195}

When the well-loved girl sets herself up a snack station,
for the piano working.

Today I am Loving {194a}

When you are making dinner for the friends, and one asks what she can bring, and you say "dessert?" and she says "yes."

Today I am Loving {194}

When you have your morning coffee,
cozy in the bed.

Today I am Loving {193}

When you are having the much needed sabbatical day,
and so you do the quiet baking
but you also meet the friend and the children for lunch in this glorious weather day, because too many of your hours these days are around people but not your people,
and you leave them, just happening to stop at the random store, finding Christmas gifts galore, and when you go for the groceries you text back and forth with your sis-in-law who just felt the need to check in on you, all the way through the unloading of the groceries, the rearranging of the tea too, and the other menial-but-feels-good-to-get-done things,
and then you sit for a bit,
before delicious simple supper, before you head out for the performance of the student who asks you every time she sees you:
 will you be there?
