Today I am Loving {162}

When you head to the bed so bone-filled tired, and you can see the anxious everything-you-have-to-think-of hovering to keep you wired, and so you say to the Lord: Please, would you help me? and He shows you a walnut, confined so protected inside its shell impenetrable and you understand Him to mean: He's got you, and then you close your eyes, fall into sleep so deep that when you wake in the dark you think surely it must be morning only to find it is only 1:29, but there are words in your head, words for the little speech you need to give tomorrow, so you get up and write them all down, and then you climb back in the bed and the next thing you know it is 6:27 and you have absolutely no recollection of the 5:30 alarm though it seems it was not missed, and then the next thing you know it is 7:11 and you get out of the bed and you say to Him: I don't know how you did that, but you did it good and even though now you're kind of behind, you don't seem to mind in the face of His care.
