When the colleague/friend asked you last-minute to play, 

and every day finds you rehearsing, 

and by the end of the week you find: life-giving.

When you are finding your transition to responsible life 

is far less than functional,

 and your morning doesn't go quite as planned,

but you've got to get to the rehearsal with the colleague/friend,

so you stop for coffee with the three extra minutes you have,

planning to pay with the giftcard you bought for the grad assistant three minutes before she told you how much she dislikes the giftcard establishment (Merry Christmas to me!), only to find that said establishment has a giftcard computer problem all across the country, and the guy at the register says: It's on us.

When the corners of your life came together,

and He provided this healing place for you,

mind, body, heart, soul, spirit; Amen and amen.

Today I am Loving {252}

When you are sitting there, waiting to get your hair trimmed, wondering what could possibly be your moment to love today, and in walks your friend, for the hair trim appointment, just after yours.

When the friend insists you should go see the movie, about the man with the piano love right there in his hands, and you sit and watch and you wonder if you have ever really listened, and so you go home,

and you do.

When it is after 3 in the afternoon,

 and this is where you've spent the day,

When you arrive at your cottage and put away the things, and your aunt has made you a loan, so you take advantage of it...

and then you remember your mother packed you some cookies.
