When you are nonchalantly cleaning out your pond, talking to the Lord, and you hear Him say "You have got to trust Me," and you say "I know Lord but really, you have got to help me," and the next thing you know, you are looking at some rotting pine cones hiding in the plant 

and then you realize: 

THOSE AREN'T PINE CONES!!!!!!
and you remember how when you were sitting with Him in the early early, you thought you heard it, croaking, morning calling.

When God said "let there be leeks."

When the kitchen is hot, sweat rolling to eyes and clinging to skin, but worth it, to prepare the food for the dear ones.

When you bring the dinner up the hill, pray through the tricky things, talk with beer in hand, smelling like fire, peace and ease and comfort.
