When it is a day for a country 

mountain

small town drive,

full of riots of color.

Today I am Loving {171}

When you have been wondering where your go-to mug has gotten-to, and then you find it.

Today I am Loving {170b}

When you have a new sleep strategy  

[a) stay up later than you'd like, 

b) pump lavender and bergamot into the air around you, and 

c) spend some time at the piano in worship before you head to bed], 

and from it the new idea that's been bubbling around 

in your head begins to take up shape.

Today I am Loving {170a}

When it is the dear one's birthday

and because you are laughers together,

you laugh,

and then you gather at the cottage with a few others,

and the birthday girl is allowed both the hot cider and cold,

and the apple crisp is warm too,

along with all the Love.

When you attend an all day session that reminds you why you have never pursued a profession of the 9 to 5 persuasion, 

and then you walk to your next appointment and notice 

the beauty of this day and this place

and--with 15 minutes to ponder--you sit and reflect on how this feels quite fitting to your life at the moment; 

so much clear, and so much mood.

When you are birthday shopping for the cutest birthday boy, 

but are mightily tempted to shop for yourself.
